Outdoor dining terrace in the countryside near Sant Carles, Ibiza

The north-east of Ibiza around Sant Carles de Peralta is the island at its most authentic: whitewashed villages, hippie markets, quiet beaches and some of the best food on the island. Here's what to see and do within minutes of the finca.

Las Dalias hippie market

Just 2 km away, Las Dalias is Ibiza's most famous market and the heart of the area's bohemian spirit. The Saturday market runs year-round, with summer night markets adding live music, food stalls and a magical atmosphere. Expect handmade clothing, jewellery, art and Ibiza souvenirs.

Beautiful, calm beaches

Food & drink

The area is full of character restaurants. Sit in the square at Bar Anita in Sant Carles, a village institution since the hippie days. For seafood, the coves of Cala Mastella and Pou des Lleó are hard to beat. Santa Eulària, a short drive south, has a long promenade lined with restaurants and a relaxed marina.

Markets, villages & nature

Beyond Las Dalias, explore the Sant Joan Sunday market, the chic village of Santa Gertrudis, and the green hills of the north. Hire a car or scooter and you can reach most of the island's north-east coast in under half an hour.
